As the presidency is set to compose a new board for the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), the member representing Ilaje Constituency 2, in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Gbenga Edema has again warned against the marginalisation of the people of the oil producing communities of the state.
Specifically, he said the law that established the commission should be adhered to in the composition of a new board for the commission, failure of which he said the people would approach the court to seek redress.
In its bid to ensure the development of the coastal communities of Ondo State, the Ilaje Regional Development Council (IRDC) has spent N800 million on execution of community-oriented projects in Ilaje Local Government Area of the state.
